Genevieve Roberts, Partner, MBA, PHR
Genevieve has over 20 years of diversified experience in Human Resources. Genevieve has performed as a business partner with varied industries including technology, manufacturing, retail, financial services, non-profit and
professional services .
She has specialized experience in Executive Coaching, Performance Management, Selection and Recruiting, Competency Development, Change Management, and Assessments.
Genevieve graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Psychobiology and a concentration in French from Wellesley College. She completed her M.B.A. from Georgetown University earning academic distinction into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. She has also completed the Executive Human Resource Leadership course at the University of Michigan and the Change Management program at the University of Virginia. Genevieve is active in the Society for Human Resources Management where she earned her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification. She serves on the foundation board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the YMCA. She is the recipient of the 2009 NAWBO Richmond Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was named a 2009 Top 100 MBE Award Winner.
A. Lee Weisiger, Partner, CCP
Lee has 28 years of Human Resources experience gained from a wide array of Fortune 500 companies and industries including: pharmaceutical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, health insurance, commercial banking, diversified financial services, and management consulting.
Lee's expertise lies in Compensation Planning and Design, Incentive Design, Performance Management, Competency Development, and Employee Surveys. Lee received his B.A. in American History from the University of Virginia and his M.S. in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resources Management, the Richmond Compensation Association, World at Work, Association for Corporate Growth, the Venture Forum, the Virginia Bankers Association, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, VaSHHRA, Rotary International, the Virginia Council of CEO's and the Capital Region Workforce Investment Board. Lee is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
Alison Miller, Senior Consultant, MPA

Alison has over 25 years of diversified experience in Human Resources for private and public sector organizations. Alison has performed as a business partner and consultant with varied industries including transportation, retail, telecommunications, and public utilities.
She has specialized experience in Job Analysis and Competency Development, Performance Management process, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, Change Management, and Learning Strategies. She is known for ensuring alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
Alison completed her Masters of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. Alison is active in the Richmond Compensation Association and is a former member of the Richmond Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. She is also on the Board of the Friends Association for Children.
Jan Bazow, Senior Consultant and Training Practice Leader
Jan has over 24 years of diverse experience in Human Resources, Training, and Organizational Development. Jan has performed in both senior management roles and consultative roles within various industries including healthcare, financial services, and information technology. Her specialized experience includes strategic human resources planning and implementation, and the design, development, and facilitation of multiple aspects of management and leadership development training.
Jan's experience spans both corporate and non-profit entities. She has led mergers, acquisitions, and as a Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Training has transitioned the human resources function into a value-added strategic business partner.
Jan pursued her undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University focusing on Business Administration. Jan has also received her certification to teach Situational Leadership and she is certified in the MBTI (Myers Briggs-Inventory). Jan has been a member of the Richmond Chapter of the Society for Human Resources and on the board of the Youth Services Commission for the City of Richmond.
Jeff Smith, Senior Consultant and Regional Manager (Roanoke)
Jeff brings over 18 years worth of experience working as an executive in human resources and operations roles for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He has served as an executive coach both internally and externally since 2001. He uses a collaborative approach with his clients to help them determine their vision and then identify a plan to help them achieve their vision for their professional and personal lives. His areas of expertise in HR include: organizational development, organizational change, succession planning, executive coaching, team building, leadership development, and recruiting.
Jeff graduated cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration from James Madison University in Management and History. He also holds a Master of Arts from George Washington University in Human Resource Development. Additionally, Jeff graduated from Georgetown University with an Executive Coaching and Leadership Certificate and became a Fellow of the Advisory Board in 2006. Jeff is certified as a Professional Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation.
Richard W. Deutsch, Principal, CPA, CTP, CLU, ChFC
Richard Deutsch brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in financial analysis and consulting. His areas of focus are nonqualified executive benefit plan consulting, and corporate/bank owned life insurance (COLI/BOLI) consulting.
In the area of nonqualified executive benefits, his expertise includes: plan design, taxation, accounting, funding, and related planning issues. Related to COLI/BOLI consulting, his experience extends to insurance product design and pricing as well as related financial, tax, and accounting implications.
Richard has earned the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Robert L. Musick, Jr., Principal, J.D.
Bob specializes in qualified retirement plans, including employee stock ownership plans, and executive compensation. His experience includes many years of advising publicly-traded and closely-held companies.
Bob graduated with honors from the University of Richmond and earned a Master of Arts and his law degree from the University of Virginia. He also holds a Masters degree in Law and Taxation from the College of William and Mary. Prior to joining Titan Group, Bob was a Principal in the Retirement Services Group of Palmer & Cay and, before that, head of the employee benefits practice at the law firm of Williams Mullen. Bob is a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.
